- olm.calcite.concCaEqFromSolution(sol)[source]¶
Calculates the equilibrium concentration of calcium for a solution object.
First calculates the partial pressure of CO2, and then uses PCO2 and temperature to calculate equilibrium Ca.
- Parameters:
- solsolution object, numpy.ndarray of solution objects, or pandas Series of solution objects
- Returns:
- CaEqfloat, numpy.ndarray, or pandas Series
Equilibrium concentration(s) of CaEq for the given solution(s) in mol/L.
Notes
Assumes a H20-CO2-CaCO3 system.
